Every cremation service in the state of Pennsylvania is required to include the basic services of a funeral director and staff. This includes our staff available 24 hours daily to respond to the initial request for service, custody of remains, arrangement conference with family and/or its representative to gather vital statistical information for all required documents and advise to determine desired services, preparation of death certificate and filing with local health department register & general administration and record-keeping.
Our $1,345 package price also includes transfer of the deceased from place of death, our staff review of all documents, shelter and refrigeration of the deceased, crematory fee for cremation at our on site crematory, county cremation authorization, notification of Social Security and Veterans Administration, transportation to crematory, an OSHA approved container for cremated remains, drafting of an obituary, and posting the obituary on our website and social media pages.
Affordable, Low-Cost Direct Cremation Services
One of our specialties is affordable, low-cost direct cremation services. Direct cremation refers to a simple cremation service without any type of ceremony or funeral. Direct cremation is ideal for those who want a simple service and want the most affordable cremation option. Essentially the direct cremation service fee covers the completion of the necessary paperwork, removal of the deceased from the place of death, and the actual cremation of the deceased. The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only those items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If you are required, (by law or otherwise), to buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain in writing on the statement of funeral goods and services, why the items must be purchased. This list does not include prices for certain items that you may ask us to buy for you, such as cemetery or crematory service, flowers and newspaper notices. The prices for these items will be shown on your bill or the statement describing the funeral goods and services you selected. This list does not include all the costs for final disposition that you may be required to pay.
BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTORS AND STAFF AND OVERHEAD
Our professional service charge includes but is not limited to counseling, available on a 24-hour basis, temporary shelter of remains, staff assistance in local removal from place of death, consultation with family and clergy, assistance of staff in all necessary phases of arrangements and direction of visitation and funeral services, obtaining, preparation and filing of necessary notices, authorizations and consents, certificates and permits; care and arrangements of flowers, coordinating with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g., cemetery, crematory, and others, and supervising of all arrangements pertaining to the funeral service and direction of the funeral and assistance to the family following funeral and final disposition, and presence at place of final disposition. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for Direct Cremation.

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. The charge for direct cremation includes removal of remains, use of refrigeration facilities(up to 48 hrs), crematory fee, necessary authorizations and basic services and a proportionate share of overhead costs. If you want to arrange a direct cremation. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are made of fiberboard.
